These unique spaces go beyond the traditional meeting room, allowing groups to gather together within thought-provoking spaces that aim to inspire, connect and engage.

While a plethora of local art galleries scattered throughout Whistler Village provide a wonderful after-meeting activity, groups can explore a more immersive experience into Whistler deep cultural roots by gathering in one of its many unique and vibrant venues that offer thought-provoking meeting spaces featuring rich and memorable art and cultural experiences.

Here are a few venues that allow groups to connect further with Whistler’s vibrant arts scene and embrace its deep cultural roots:

Squamish Lil-wat Cultural Centre

Arriving to a welcome ceremony and cultural demonstrations, the cultural centre offers groups a unique gathering experience unlike any other. Carefully designed to evoke the longhouses of the Squamish people and traditional earthen pit houses of the Lil’wat people, the SLCC preserves and shares the culture and art of the Squamish and Lil’wat nations through its cultural exhibits and demonstrations. Warm and intimate event spaces are illuminated by floor to ceiling windows and collections of weavings and carvings throughout. While the main event space is perfect for large gatherings such as galas, weddings, and dinner receptions, smaller and more intimate event spaces allow for break out rooms or smaller gatherings.
