Trek high above the forest floor

Immersed deep in Whistler’s old-growth cedar forests, treetop trekking tasks participants to rise to the challenge by traveling from tree-to-tree and navigating a variety of elements including suspended bridges, swinging logs, Tarzan swings, ziplines and tightropes. A natural team building activity, teamwork and cheering is a must during this elevated experience that reaches up to 60 feet above the forest floor. This summer-only activity offers a variety courses ranging in levels of difficulty.

Rip Through the Backcountry

Get your team out trekking through the rugged and muddy trails of Whistler’s backcountry in a side-by-side UTV or ATV tour. An unforgettable experience, multiple tour options are available throughout the valley to get your team out of their comfort zone and into the driver’s seat of this off-road adventure. Not mention, spectacular views are a plenty on these tours as guides wind your group through lush temperate rainforests to breathtaking mountain vistas.

Paddle Up with White Water Rafting

Kick the adrenaline up a notch and challenge your group to a white water rafting adventure down one of Whistler’s many rushing rivers. World-class guides lead groups through a wide array of rafting tours that travel down the Green, Lower Cheakamus, Elaho and Squamish Rivers. With the adrenaline pumping, your team will be bonding in no time as they navigate and paddle through white water rapids while learning new ways to work together as a team. This wild adventure is no doubt the perfect team building activity for an adventurous group; leaving your team with countless memories to share back home.

Olympic Experiences

The Whistler Sliding Centre, located on Blackcomb Mountain, was the site for bobsleigh, skeleton and luge in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. In the summer, inspire your group and make them feel like an Olympian with a ride down the world’s fastest sliding track, in a bobsleigh on wheels. With a trained pilot in the driver’s seat, your team will get to work together as they roll down and navigate through 10 corners, all while reaching speeds up to 90KM per hour on the Olympic track.

Just south of Whistler in the Callaghan Valley, Whistler Olympic Park, which was the site for ski jumping, Nordic combined, biathlon and cross country skiing for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, also offers a number of Olympic experiences great for team building. Together your group can learn the skills of rifle marksmanship as they’re challenged to a summer Biathlon. During this experience, your group will get the chance to learn about the parks’ sports and history as they walk and run the course towards the shooting range where they will take aim at targets and shoot real 22 caliber rifles together.

No matter which activity you choose to help bond your group together, you can rest assured they will leave Whistler with shared memories of experiencing something unforgettable together.
